I just purchased a macbook and i’m loving it. It is a refurb with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 ghz processor with 1 gb of ram. I heard there are a lot of problems from the MacBook, like heating issues and automatically shut down. But I think it is the way you handle the laptop… just don’t slam it. Because somepeople don’t notice they slam it too hard, just don’t get to comfortable with it because it is very breakable, my dad had the old one, it broke, but it never had that crack, because he handled it gently.

Yeah with the CF8.0.1 updater you can use the ColdFusion Launcher.

so the command is Command + Spacebar “ColdF” then enter

ahhhh spotlight!

Try SmartSVN on the Mac instead of TortoiseSVN. It seems to be a full featured SVN that is working well for me. Also, you’ll need to memorize the command link to launch CF:

/Applications/JRun4/bin/jrun start cfusion

No I haven’t. There is one called SCPlugin or something like that but it just isn’t the same. Subclipse has helped though.

I use the Eclipse SVN plugin more so giving up TortoiseSVN might not be a big issue for me. Have you found an alternative yet though ?

Yeah I just got a MacBook about 2 months ago and the best thing was the CF 8.0.1 Updater since it now has true leopard 64 bit support. Everything else should be pretty easy especially since you use eclipse.

The hardest part has been giving up TortoiseSVN…
