Sitting late or working late?

On August 13, 2008, in Web Development, by Anuj Gakhar

Although I have spent most of my working life outside India (even though I come from India), I have worked at some point in Indian IT companies and I know for a fact that working late hours in Indian companies is a very common thing. Infact, if you leave on time, you are looked upon with a weird eye from everyone around you.  The below article I found, is an interesting read on the same subject.

you’d find most of these ‘late workers’ surfing job posts & applying to them.
How’s that for biting off the back you are riding on :)

Ah yes, I quite agree. Unless you get paid by the hour of course ;)

@Paul, Good to see you here.and I agree, contracting is a completely different world. The more hours you spend, better for you :)
